with quite a clear idea in mind and armed with our story boards we set out filming in studio B. my idea was to have our actor (Keith) running through a 3d environment. so keith started running, we shot from a number of angles so to have a nice choice of shots to choose from.
a couple of problems we came across was the fact the blue screen did not roll onto the floor so we rented a pop out blue screen and combined it with the original blue screen.
another problem we came across was the lighting in the studio, unfortunately the lighting was too warm (orange) to really pick up the true colours that should have been displayed in our piece. we moved the lighting around and dimmed a few of them to optimize what we had to work with.
we ended up shooting around 20 minutes of footage for a 1 minute piece so hopefully will have enough to choose from.
